Granger & Co Brunch

Brunch is an essential part of Saturdays and where better to lounge around in the sun (unexpected bonus) with iceberg lattes in hand...

Than at GRANGER & CO's Kings Cross.

We nestled in amongst the breakfast crowd, shades on and absorbing the beautiful last rays of summer (is that right? Can I say that - it's October)

Brushed up on the menu.

And hydrated whilst waiting for Becca to arrive

The watermelon and lime latte was zesty and refreshing, felt a lot naughtier than it was.

And the dark purple concoction was acai (pronounced...hmmm) and raspberry.

The menu has all the usual suspects eggs, avocados, smoked salmon. And then some unusual suspects too; sweetcorn fritters!?!? Yum.

We ordered up a pot of the good stuff...

And chatted over the latest trips to Milan, work, future holidays, Christmas, boys and an epic inventory of makeup must-haves for autumn!

Breakfast arrived in true laid back Aussie fashion and the smell of fresh toast and eggs engulfed us.

Nat went for the sweetcorn fritters and bacon!

Helen, the stack of rather enviable pancakes with honey and butter...

Going...going...

Gah! Massive food envy.

Becca and I went for the good old Aussie breakfast with a side of toast for good measure.

Quite healthy looking isn't it! More green that I anticipated - but a really rather tasty ensemble.

Followed up with lazy iceberg lattes.

Such a photogenic drink, the coffee cubes just seep into the milk - incredibly refreshing caffeine hit!

And then gooey brownies. Who says you can't have dessert after breakfast?

Served warm, gooey and with a dollop of creamy something or other - delicious.

Sadly brunch had to come to an end, all though the staff did attempt to persuade us to stay with lunch menus...

Sounds rather fabulous grazing non-stop on a Saturday with only iceberg lattes in between to cleanse the palette.

But the rugby was calling...I waved the girls off and sprinted back to Paddington.

People always ask my fav spots to grab a bite in London and I can now... thoroughly recommend Granger & Codefinitely ICEBERG it up!

Excited for our next catchup already.
