Woodstock Wedding 2016

Wedding season is well and truly upon us and last weekend Mr.S and I (and a few Irish) descended on the beautiful little village of Honiley for Jon & Becky's wedding.

The day began at the bar with a cold glass of vino, a few nerves and some rather dodgy corsage pinning attempts!

The ceremony was at 2pm and in the most beautiful of locations...

A quiet and dainty church set beyond a set of big iron gates, all grassy and basking in the summer sun!

The entrance was decorated with a beautiful gypsophila and rosemary flower arch

and the weather was on point for the big day, filling the church with photogenic light.

The ceremony was very personal and featured some exceptional singing  talent - the 'I do's' got a loud cheer from everyone!

White rose petal confetti showered the newlyweds and everyone got snap happy capturing the moment!

I was totally in love with Becky's shoes...

We left the couple for their photo session (sneaking in a few of our own before driving to the marquee)

'Woodstock' was in full swing when we arrived...

Becky & Co had put together quite a set up.  The marquee, decorations, table settings and all the other details - serious Pinterest goals.

The sun was in full force so luckily there was plenty of bubbly refreshments to stay hydrated...

Seriously, such a cool vibe - think festival chill with excellent suits!

Drinks were flowing, everyone was lapping up the sunshine sat on hay bales and lounging on stripy deckchairs... with bowls of tasty nibbles to snack on...

Even rounds of mini icecream pots!

The main feasting was epic too with bowls of coleslaw, summery tomato feta salads, bread and oils and a delicious family style BBQ.

Speeches were emotional with plenty of hilarious (and far to revealing) nuggets about the Groom.

To top things off, DIY dessert - a mountain of glazed donuts, brownies and fresh strawberries!

Followed by more prosecco, fresh stone baked pizzas and even a silent disco at midnight!

An absolutely stunning day - location, weather, and fantastic Bride & Groom.

Congratulations guys!
